One reason why you're getting a lack of responses is $1,100 won't get you into most areas, much less the popular ones.

There are some low-rent areas that still exist on the south side that are technically ITP, but not nessecrily the ITP lifestyle many are seeking on the east side or closer to Buckhead and Midtown.

There are also some homes for rent in lower-income neighborhoods at that price, so you will find more options on the Southside.

There are a few places on the fringes of Downtown and Old Fourth Ward that will meet that price point, which is near desirable areas... but might have some localized problems.

However, you definitely have some options.

Willow isn't that best place to look for rentals, but it will definitely tell you where to look: 1BR $1,100- https://www.zillow.com/homes/for_ren...57_rect/11_zm/

If it were me there are some not-so-glamorous units in Virginia-Highland at that price, but you can't beat the location.

Because I've lived right on those MARTA/Norfolk Southern lines before and I can tell you, those freight trains run often, they run 24/7, and some of them are LOUD. Luckily, the building I lived in had excellent insulation, so it wasn't really an issue. But I could tell how loud those trains were when I opened my window, so that could definitely be an issue for a place close to those tracks with poor insulation. Just FYI.
Really inside as your backwall is just solid glass.

Floors are 3" of solid concrete on top of metal, and whoever is above you, their plumbing runs through the open rafters. Plus the HVAC is exposed as well ( it's an open loft type environment ). My gf uses her upstairs neighbor taking a shower as a final alarm clock lol . We hear PDK more than anything else, but mostly because it faces the backside of the complex.

Here's an apartment complex in the Bolton neighborhood where the entry price for a 1 bedroom is $1100. Used to be called Collier Lofts, but I think it is just a standard aparment building with some loft-like features. Not a bad drive to Fulton Industrial.

If you want a true traditional loft space, I know there are some in the Castleberry Hill neighborhood. You will probably have to dig a little to find an available one, though, since they are not your typical managed apartment complexes.
