Default Bussing in the suburbs

Does anyone know if there is still bussing in the Atlanta suburbs? Do cities like Sandy Springs, Roswell or Dundwoody have kids bussed in from other places?

Just curious because I thought bussing was a thing that ended way back...

Aha... you weren't specific enough.

In DeKalb, there are schools of choice, which there is some bussing for (but not all programs have transportation), there has been a program that allows students (primarily in S. DeKalb) transfer from overcrowded to underutilized schools (in N. DeKalb mostly).

However, in all the systems you listed, students who are at schools that don't make AYP for two years are allowed to transfer to schools that do. The systems that you listed are providing transportation--- Gwinnett doesn't -- it pays parents to transport their own children and then reimburses them at the END of the school year.
