We are in the process of planning our daughter's four year old birthday party. We are located in Smyrna/Mableton, but most of her friends live in Buckhead so we are open to a range of locations. We have done her party at our house the last few years, and I am just not up for that this year. Any suggestions for good places to host her party? There will probably be around 10 to 15 kids (and their parents). We want to avoid any place that charges for the parents since I do not want to have to tell other people that we only want one parent there. Lastly, we are definitely open to renting a room where we can set up crafts, etc., but we cannot find a place with a reasonable rental rate (our neighborhood clubhouse is $100 just for the facility). Thanks in advance!

Here some thoughts...don't know about costs:
Park Inflatable place Build a Bear Sundays at the food court next to chick filet are empty and the family got a big table and sang, etc., for free. McDonalds or Chick Filet usually have an indoor play area bring a cake and have a ball..not sure if you have to "pay" Chucky cheese I think there is a play house in Tucker that you can take kids to play and then she rents it out on weekends? I can't remember the name. Not sure if the location works. |

Is Sketchy's Art Pad the one in Smyrna? I have never been there. I have done Vinings School of Art (I think that is the name.... in Ivy Walk), and I did not like it that much. I have heard wonderful about Purple Hippo. Thank you so much for the ideas!

Kanga Zoom on Atlanta road is the best!

Would agree that KangaZoom across from West Village would be good, Little Gym in the Smyrna Market Village and you may also want to consider Sketchy's Art Pad on Log Cabin Road just inside 285.

My wife owns and operates Art From The Heart in the Smyrna Market Village.
I heartily recommend it for birthday parties, dates, and stress reduction. ![]() Be sure to say Tim sent you. ![]() |

My daughter had her birthday party at Art from the Heart and everyone (including) the parents had a fabulous time. You can set ranges on the pottery pieces to help keep the cost down, it's very relaxed and the people there are great.

Thanks for the kind words. I'll be sure to relate them to my wife. ![]() OK, here's my "shameless" advertising plug: This would be a wonderful place to spend a Mother's Day outing, as well. I hear that they'll have some special things planned for that day. For details, call the studio. Again, here's the website: Welcome to Art...from the HEART |
