No, they're only taking a portion of the Sports Authority space.

Not related to your post, but an interesting aside that many folks aren't aware of is that Aldi and Trader Joe's are separate divisions of the same company.

Well, we just ran up to the Aldi in Sandy Springs and it wasn't bad at all. I got one of their pizzas and am going to have it for dinner.

What's funny is how Trader Joes is held in a favorable regard, while Aldi is generally snobbed on by some people. It was interesting showing this youtube video to one such person.......her head almost exploded! I like them both btw! Buckhead has had an Aldi for awhile now....

I don't go to Aldi too often...is this frozen pizza you are talking about? Or do some Aldi's now have a bakery?

Probably a bunch of yuppies. Aldi is good quality and affordable. You can't beat that. I don't know not one person who doesn't like Aldi and I'm actually shocked to hear that there are people who snob on it.

I've heard it's pretty nice. As shopping preferences change, I think ALDI could do well in Buckhead. If you're using a meal service, Whole Foods & farmer's market for meat and produce, Trader Joe's for frozen stuff, no reason not to go to Aldi to buy your paper goods and junk food. It seems close to the Kroger but I'd go to Aldi any day to avoid Piedmont--you can access the Aldi location from Maple Dr.

Aldi sells a quality product at great prices. There are some things we don't buy there (not all produce, usually not meat), but most of our dry staples are straight from Aldi.
