Ok anyone else a little anxious? Can someone clarify that schools call legacy and siblings the day before results are posted? Is this true? When do they call? All day vs after wok and school? Thanks!

Not universally true; depends on the school. And if they do, it's generally to deliver bad news.

Yes, it is my understanding that it is to deliver a “no” or “waitlist”. Are the calls made throughout the day?

I don't know for sure. But I would imagine it would be school hours (8 AM-3 PM).

I've gotten the call in late afternoon. I wouldn't pop the champagne till tomorrow--I'm sure some years they don't get through the call list in time.

Keep us posted on this. I recall ten years ago when my twins both applied to a private school. We received no call, but received both the rejection letter for one and the acceptance letter for the other on the same day. They were legacies, as well.

I don't have any children and have zero experience with private schools (although I do have friends that work at some of the schools) and yet every year I enjoy this topic and check back on these threads to get the update status of who got in an where.

I am nervous for each of you! This is almost as painful as following sorority rush

The forum has been really quiet on it this year. I also have enjoyed reading all the past threads.
