Our son was accepted to Lovett, Pace and Westminster for Kindergarten. We are thrilled to have such amazing school choices but are having a tough time making a final decision. We have spent time on each campus and can honestly find pros and cons for each school. It seems like there were a number of families that posted to the board last year that were making tough decisions between elite schools. Anyone from last year that would like to share their experience after a year at the school of choice?

We are in a similar situation and it’s complicated further by financial concerns. We are blessed to get to choose but it’s giving me some anxiety as well.

Yes, we only applied to Pace and Westminster for pre-first. Now deciding between the two. Would love thoughts from anyone on the two schools. Ideally we would like all our children at one school (this is our oldest), we would like a school that is less snobby (we know the challenges at the big three), and provide a nurturing lower school environment.

We chose between P, W, L last year for our oldest child who was entering pre-first. It was definitely a difficult choice and we ended up going with Pace. We are thrilled with our decision and have constant reminders why our choice was correct for our child. Pace is so well balanced— not only strong academics but such a real focuse on character development and teaches so many ideas and concepts we never expected for our 5 year old. The school has a very strong community and most of the families are very welcoming with interesting and diverse backgrounds.

I have been told that Pace is more forgiving with sibling acceptance than Westminster.
