Peachtree City (Atlanta: low crime, income, vs)

I am planning on moving to the Peachtree City area of Georgia from Canada for six months of each year. I am a single grandmother (58 years) with a modest retirement income. My intention is to be close to my grandchildren.

Where would you suggest I seek housing for this purpose? The Intranet is not providing much information that is helpful.

In looking over the threads about GA and some of my own research of GA Peachtree seems to be a nice city, somewhat expensive.

I am moving from SC and looking for good H.S. African-american family looking for diversity in city, some excitement, low crime, not too far from Heart of Atlanta for night life. HELP with info.

Peachtree doesnt look at all diverse from what I can see from data on internet 97% white.

where do you get the data for diversity. whatis the percentage of minority vs majority in alpharetta, ga.
