Unusual Request-Renting Room (Marietta, Peachtree City: to rent, motel, houses)

Hi this is Judy. I live in TX and my daughter is currently in the hospital. She was in the hospital in Dec. and now is back in there. She lives in Peachtree City in a duplex and doesn't have room for me.

I visited her week before last and the motel bill as well as the gas driving there and back makes me realize that I can't do that again.

I'd like to be able to be with her more. I'm thinking about the possibility of renting a room. I have references from here and from a friend that lives in Marietta.

If anybody could suggest a friend or acquaintance that might be interested, please respond here or send me a private message.

I'm very familiar with the area having lived in Marietta for years.

Thanks, but most that I looked that were close enough were as much as a motel room or had pets in the home.

Try Craigslist under 'housing', room shares. People are renting out extra rooms in their houses for the money and even though you'd not be there for months (hopefully!) I can see where someone would be willing to rent to someone for a few days here and there; it's not like you'll be there much except at night. Often the rooms are already furnished with a bed, bureau etc.
