Its interesting. It seems like the southside of many major American cities is the "bad, ghetto side" while the north being more properous, busy, and affluent. Certainly Chicagos like that, I believe Dallas is as well. Anyone know any major exceptions?

Birmingham, AL. The northside is the "rough" side and the southside is where the more "chi-chi" suburbs are located.

Say, isn't the city of Atlanta city limits within some type of national forest or such? I thought I had heard/read that somewhere before.

I think Philly is the opposite of Atlanta, regarding the bad areas of town. I will be in Atlanta in five or six weeks and will have some good pic for y'all;I just have to learn how to put them up on here.

Jacksonville, FL, where the better neighborhoods are on the south side.
