You can buy Taylor's pork roll at any Publix- either in the little red boxes, or hand-sliced at the deli.

That is hilarious! I am from Bergen County NJ but did a few years in Dover, DE, now East TN (Johnson City). We may be heading to GA if DH gets a new job.

I so can relate to the egg and cheese sandwich thing! I am so sick of southern food I need a good cannoli every once in a while ya know!

I fear moving further south is just going to break me! Well the search begins. Really loving all the threads about schools and stuff. I am sure to be asking questions soon.

If you're looking to move to a more country like setting may I suggest the Free home/ Macedonia/ Ballground area of Cherokee county. In the Free Home area you would be in very close proximity to GA400 which can be somewhat of a commute nightmare but if your husband leaves by 6:30am shouldn't be too bad. These are nice sprawling areas, with homes that range in price from the 100's to the millions. The nice part is it is mostly country but still close enough to get to all of the shopping and entertainment your heart desires. Our children attend Creekland Middle School as well, it is the newest middle school in the county. They came from an elementary school of around 300 students, that's pretty small. I encourage you to look around, Cherokee County is very large and some are's are a little more desirable than others. Woodstock in particular is and has been for the past few years experiencing growth at such a rapid rate the city is having a hard time keeping up with road improvements and such. Canton, too is not that far behind. Appealing to some, but not to me and I have lived in this county my whole life! Whats frightening is I went to Holly Springs Elem when I was a child, of course that's before they turned it into an alternative school and built the new one. Best of luck! If you have other questions I'd be glad to try and help.
