Default Where to live? Looking for safe area, racial diversity and good schools!

We might be relocating to the Atlanta area before August '08. I would like some feedback on good, safe neighborhoods/cities with very good schools (have a 9 yr old and a 3 yr old.) We need access to the airport (a place with the least traffic, if that's possible). It seems as though the Atlanta area has a terrible traffic problem. A big plus, is an area where there is racial tolerance. We are non-white and we currently live in a diverse, middle-class community in Coral Springs, FL and it's great. I checked out Peachtree City (this place sounds real nice), Suwanee, Alpharetta and the City of Decatur. Please, I need all the feedback I can get. Thanks!!!!!

Default Moving to Duluth, Ga

Hello,

I'm currently living in S FLa- Miami Lakes area and will be moving to the Duluth area in GA. We (me and my husband) are looking to rent a 1/1 apt. We are a young couple of hispanic descent, make decent money, and like peace and quiet. I was wondering if anyone can offer some insight/suggestions on the rental communities in the area. We are looking for a quiet/safe/diverse place.

Thanks to anyone who can help

If Peachtree City meets your criteria for "convenient to the airport" then you really should look at Newnan as well. Great schools, low crime, nice community and plenty of shopping.

Fayetteville has excellent schools, and is close to airport. I think it's also fairly diverse, but not sure.
