The building I am renovating will prominatley feature a restored name of a business that has not operated there in decades.

But please, go on with how you have me all figured out.

why not call it sales force center or something like that so we would not get confused for Salesforce tower San Fransisco

And no parking, can't forget the no parking. One of the first 'developments' in all of Atlanta that refuses to provide parking. No elderly or impaired allowed, they just aren't cool. Anyone that wishes to live Downtown should be forced to walk.

There are actually two Transamerica Towers, one in San Francisco and one in Baltimore. The official name for the one in SF is Transamerica Pyramid Center, but Transamerica has not been a tenant there since 1999, when it was bought by Aegon and its American HQ was moved to Baltimore.
Aegon still owns the Pyramid and thus retains the name.
