Wink Visiting Atlanta for a near future relocation...

Hello
We will be visiting Atlanta for the first time now in May 2008. We may have the opportunity to relocate to Atlanta in the near future. We want some suggestions of what cities, areas etc. we should look into, that are nice, beautiful, affordable houses (Big, good houses for not more than $320K) and has good schools. We want to look in a ratio of 20 miles from Century Parkway NE, Atlanta 30345. Thanks for any advise.

Define affordable. That is very relative (e.g., those from NYC might consider a $600K affordable, while someone from Houston considers a $100K house affordable).

Default Relocation

Hi;
I have a few ideas for you when and if you decide to come to the area. There are alot of beautiful communities and of course this is one of the fastest growing areas in the country.
John

I'd concentrate in these areas-
Norcross, Lawrenceville, Duluth (Gwinnett Co.)
Dunwoody (Dekalb Co.)
Roswell and maybe Alpharetta (Fulton Co.)

Good call...the neighborhoods just south of I-85 from Century Center are great, but I haven't seen much there for 320M and below for some time.

You aren't going to find much single family housing in that price range in Dunwoody that is going to be very nice or big. It won't be big and it probably won't be beautiful.
