Lithonia: Thinking of moving there? Meet your leaders! (ugh) (Atlanta: car insurance, transfer to)

Lithonia doesn't come up too often in the forums as a top choice for people to want to move to, but just in case you're considering it, here are two local news stories (below) about the recent tensions between the Mayor and City Council there. Nothing says "move here" like a stable government that gets along (sarcasm). Both have a video with them as well at the time of this post. The second post shows a bit more. Embarrassing to say the least:

I had failed to realize that Lithonia is also where they had to shut down their police department because they couldn't afford to pay the car insurance on the cruisers as well. A year later their city offices water was shut off due to failure to pay the bill. So final vote - not a place to recommend.
