Kind of dumb.

What's so special about 4am?

Why not just make it 24/7 and be done with it?

@ATLTJL...I don't really get it either because most people leave bars before 3 a.m.

Probably an attempt to get them off the roads before the Monday morning rush.

I'm not opposed to bars being open 24 hours. I don't care either way. But those fighting for it should have to work the 2am to 10 am shift and get a first hand feel for what they're fighting for.

If somebody goes to the Superbowl and is still out drinking at 4 am they may want to check themselves.

I suspect the bigger problem is going to be the people who are out drinking that late before the Super Bowl. If you've been tying one on for hours or days, your team starts losing, and you're seated next to a fan of the other team...watch out.

Yeah I mean if they are extending it for visitors to the Super Bowl just this week then aren't they kind of admitting that standard hours are not up to what people expect for a cosmopolitan city worth of hosting the Super Bowl?
