...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH
TUESDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Snow possible. Total snow accumulations of up to 2
inches, with locally higher amounts possible in the higher
terrain of northern Georgia.

* WHERE...Mainly along and north of a line from Franklin to
Jonesboro to Gainesville.

* WHEN...From late Monday night through Tuesday evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is potential for significant
snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel. Continue
to monitor the latest forecasts.

As usual? The models picked up December 2017's epic snowfall beautifully. There hasn't been a bust "as usual" in a very long time.

Hopefully not. I like snow and miss seeing it, and I love getting the day off from work if roads are bad. Kids could certainly use a snow day off from school too

Okay so so far kemp is closing govt. buildings tomorrow morning (it indicated just the morning versus the entire day). Atlanta schools will be closed for the day. GSU is closed tomorrow and so I assume the rest will be closed too.
