One thing I forgot to ask was what time does traffic start getting heavy in that area? I'm out the door at 6:40 most mornings (Tampa) and by 7 the roads are all flooded with traffic. Going 20 miles can often take an hour here.
It's definitely later here (vs. the midwest). It seems that it really starts at about 7:00am, peaks at 8:15am by me?

I leave for work immediately after my son boards the school bus at 6:55 am, and things move very well at this time. There is a noticeable difference in my ability to cross the chattahoochee river quickly if I leave after 7:15. Either way I have a fairly short commute.

I'm one of the early ones in my office at 7:20. If I had to guess, it seems most people are arriving between 8:00 - 8:30?

Thank you again for the information. My wife and I try to get to work pretty early each day (between 7:15-7:30) so it looks like we should be ok as long as we stay southwest of Roswell and east of 19/400. The Google traffic maps are showing 19/400 north as pretty much open between 7-8am so I should be ok on my commute.
