There is no excuse for there being a 55 mile per hour speed limit. Most of the places I see this don't need it. There should be advisory speed limits that update according to traffic conditions. Someone driving fast late at night when there are no cars on the road shouldn't be getting a ticket. What sense does that make?

Southside connector should be 65 from the merge of I-75/85 @ GA-166 all the way to I-20, 55 through Downtown (currently its 45 and its ridiculous to expect drivers to do 45 through there.) and 65 again after they split just north of 17th Street.

If you use the HOV lane anywhere on the connector, regardless of the speed limit, if you're not doing 75 or higher you're going to have someones nose end on your tail.
