I live on a very busy road in the North Druid Hills area. Houses along the street regularly sell within a month or two of listing without significant price reductions. My neighbor's house sold the day it listed, for $15k over list. I hardly even notice the noise when inside my house, or even the backyard, unless an ambulance is going by. But you can hear those in the "quiet" neighborhood behind me. I tell my friends that when I decide to sell, I'm going to put a big sign in my front yard saying "if you lived here, you'd be home already" for all those miserable folks sitting in traffic waiting to get out of town to see.

Awesome! What price are you listing your home for?

I saw that on an apartment complex in west Houston all the time going home. In that case, it was really false advertising. The Westpark Tollway is notorious for having odd and infrequent exits. At that particular point, you'd have to go down and then backtrack to actually get there. Over 5 minutes of driving from that point with no traffice.
