Hello all, I came across a potential investment property in Stone Mountain 30088 off Martin's Crossing rd. I was just wondering if anyone can comment on this area.

Hit or miss. The whole mainstreet subdivision depends on your direct neighbor, it seems. Where on martins crossing?

I know someone that just sold their house @ Martin Crossing and Fair forest. Only thing they told me was their neighbor dogs were always loose and the other neighbor would steal their mail every now and again, so hopefully its not that house you are looking at, otherwise that corner seemed quiet most times I went by there. When I go by Hemingway, it seems okay over there too.

Pretty much alot of the S Dekalb are in that zipcode falls under the category of 8-9 out of 10 folks are working folks that want a clean/peaceful neighborhood and the other 1-2 out of 10 are your hell on earth neighbors, that you have to put up with possible drugs, gangs, loose dogs, possible teen that will break into your car or home, or possible section 8 hell on earth property. If you dont get stuck next to one of them, its okay, other wise, you will hate living there.
