This is an AWESOME win for College Park...

BMW of North America is spending $56 million to expand its technical training centers in Ontario, Calif. and Woodcliff Lake, N.J., and open new centers in Spartanburg, S.C. and Atlanta, Ga. The facilities will support the development of new and existing technicians at BMW and MINI dealerships throughout the United States.

The expansion also includes plans for BMW Group University’s Service Technician Education Program (STEP), the company’s flagship program that consists of 16 weeks of BMW technical post-secondary automotive training.

The 53,000-square foot Atlanta-area facility, located on the campus of the Georgia International Convention Center in College Park, Ga., cost the company $17 million and will offer students technical training, STEP/Apprentice training, Motorrad and body and paint dealer training..."
