These women don't mess around.

I'd have just shot him, so much less effort involved.

This is why I always lock my doors and bring my cellular phone when pumping, and never leave the keys inside.

Well, what if you'd left your firearm on the console for a minute? Not everybody holsters while pumping gas.

Nope. You can't use deadly force to protect property.

It was a guy charged in Dekalb a few years back who shot someone after they tried to steal/break into his Dodge Charger.

I always wondered how that case was resolved.

ETA: I found the article. https://www.ajc.com/news/breaking-ne...gHcsl7Xk0Z1cJ/

He received 20 years in prison for involuntary manslaughter.

Someone explain why people are willing to get themselves hurt or killed to protect something that is insured...?

If someone steals my car, fine. I'll call my insurance company and have a new one within a few days. Not risking my life for a hunk of metal.

It plainly would just **** me off too much, if someone goes involuntarily into my vehicle for something that isnt theirs...they're taking lead with them.

Taking a human life because they stole your $200 cell phone is just sad. It's just a sad way to live your life when you have a perspective like that.

When I read the thread title, I thought it was referring to someone that was stealing small hamburgers off peoples' plates.
