I used to go to Sofar Sounds sets in Atlanta in 2014 when a friend of mine booked for them (volunteering her time btw) so not sure why this article claims Sofar just started here this year. That's actually to date the only time I've been in the Stacks. Some dude had an absolutely gorgeous loft and hosted a Sofar Sounds event there that I remember included Larkin Poe who seem to be pretty massive now (they were fairly large at that time too).

It's also a terrible organization that underpays its artists in return for tech bro seed funding. Wouldn't support them without massive changes at this point.

Not sure why this has never crossed my mind. BUT. Great idea.

If we're talking about an event scheduled at someone's home during a Friday or Saturday night, during prime time, it would save a lot of drive time, parking safari, and beating crowds.
