I don't know anything about the Paul Duke school because it's too new. I assume it will be good, but time will tell.

In any case, although I love Peachtree Corners for its proximity to Atlanta, you definitely pay for that in multiple ways (not just money). It wouldn't make much sense for someone who works in Johns Creek and Suwanee and doesn't care about access to the city to pay that premium.

Johns Creek, Alpharetta and South Forsyth have the best schools in the metro area. If your husband's work is in and around Johns Creek you can pick either of these 3 places to live in and you can't go wrong with schools in these 3 places.

With this budget you should be able to afford a decent home in most of the subdivisions in Johns Creek or Alpharetta.

Thank you! The prices of the subdivisions weren't ever a concern, which is why I never brought it up. Someone asked me, so I responded. My concern is simply finding out about the schools/counties.
