Would you buy a new construction home in Kennesaw or Dallas GA? From Kennesaw driving to Dallas was a little long, it quite rural. I imagine at night it will be really dark driving. I did not notice any place where one could stop if car breaks down..But besides that I found a subdivision that is building beautiful SFH with woodsy backdrop.

Now in Kennesaw I also found a builder building SFH, this area Iím familiar with. Many places along the way, shops, supermarkets, gas stations etc. its perfect location. And I believe if I was to sell the home I would not have any issues. Iím just not that sure with Dallas GA locations.

Is anyone familiar with Dallas GA area? And would you buy there?

where will you be working? Are schools important. TBH, it seems like you like Kennesaw better. Why is Dallas still on your list?

I’m a telecommute. Schools are not an issue. Its just a matter of driving 20mins to get to the nearest interstate 75 or 85 etc..when needing to travel out. But more importantly just thinking resale value Kennesaw seems best because the new construction is close to good schools, shopping centers and close to 75 and 575 in a matter of minutes...So I guess I answered my own question and yes I am partial to Kennesaw area..If I could take the house from Dallas Ga and place it in Kennesaw, I would be so happy. LOL!!

Which school cluster in Kennesaw? The ďKennesawĒ address area goes into several school clusters:

North Cobb
Kennesaw Mountain
Kell
Harrison
Sprayberry
Allatoona

My boss lives in Dallas and really likes it. Of course he is the kind of guy who rarely goes intown; just for a occasional Braves game. We work in Marietta so it's not too far. There's a lot of shopping over on 278.

If I had a choice between the two, I'd choose Kennesaw. Theres just a lot more amenities and is closer to everything than I believe Dallas would be.
