Feedback on Smyrna 30080 & Mission Galleria (Atlanta: apartment complex, crime, income)

Please give me some feedback on the Smyrna 30080 area and the Mission Galleria Apt complex.
Need basic info, ie, crime, population, etc.

Moving from New York to Atlanta and would really appreciate the help.

Smyrna 30080 encompasses a large area and a large change in demographic. While Mission Galleria is well located (off of Cobb Parkway), the apartment complex itself is sort of run down and has many lower income folks living there. I would not move into that complex if I were you. In fact, many apartments along Cobb Parkway itself are not the greatest. That said, I have heard great things about the Village apartments (on Village Parkway - just off of Cobb Parkway).

How is the crime in that area of Smyrna by Mission Galleria or around the cumberland mall area...

Was not able to find Village Apartments if you have a link or website, would really appreciate it.
