The cost of college has not increased by multiple times because of bathrooms and food halls and air conditioning. We had food halls and bathrooms in our dorm rooms at my state university 25 years ago. That university now costs I believe 4-5 times as much to attend. That's far past the cost of inflation and far past just some new services.

I used HOPE and several other Grant's but still came out with $80k worth of loans in the end. And no. I did not have a dorm, commuted to and from college. They just dont cover enough. The real answer is go to a state college in California and pay nothing.

They've been talking about this development for about a year now. Glad to see it coming through. I think they'll do well, but they are definitely pioneers. If it were further on Donald Lee I'd be scared for anybody to move there. But its right over that zig/zag intersection from N. Avenue over Northside so not incredibly far from the line when it immediately picks up again. Brock Built is known well in the area too...

This development was started over ten years ago. It just fell to the recession.
