Bankhead has great bones and is gonna be huge pretty soon but also lol at paying $400k+ in Bankhead in 2019. If you're that antsy to buy, just buy in Summerhill, Grant Park, Ormewood Park, Cabbagetown, Reynoldstown, or Edgewood and enjoy a much higher quality of life for the same price.

Before I purchase in Bankhead or the Westside, I’d buy in East Point or College Park. There’s absolutely no discernible difference between Atlanta and East Point and College Park and I personally consider those cities to be “Atlanta” as much as O4W or Bankhead, and one of the last bastions of the Atlanta of yesterday. Alternative POV: I would buy in Bankhead before I buy in East Point or College Park. I prefer to rely on my bicycle and ebike for transit and only one of those neighborhoods is "in-town."

I mean -- no, I made that post a few messages earlier. I wouldn't buy in College Park at 400 either though, if that's the point you're trying to make. There are places I would buy before Bankhead at 400+. If I could get something in the 200-300 range, yeah I would consider it I suppose (not looking to buy anything right now also).

It only takes getting two or three to buy at that price point (and maybe just one) and then you're off to the races. Millennials have a ton of money to spend and they are looking for somewhere to park it and grow it. What they want is bikability, transit and walkability. It doesn't matter whether they actually use it or not, it's about having options.

Please show me where you got this from? I’ve never read millennials being financially well off to the point of swinging $400k mortgages. Few have “a ton” of money, most definitely do not. In fact, I was under the impression most don’t even own.
