OK, well that story is useless- it lists Detroit as the #5 place to buy a house. Detroit is on the verge of having the last person out turn off the lights, so how in the world could it be a great place to buy? Unless you're independently wealthy, you need a job to afford a house, and there's few to be had in Detroit. Just anyone one of Money's absurd studies that mean nothing.

Detroit, yeah right. The city with THE worst crime in the US. This story smacks of such credibility. After all, it lists actual real estate listings right on the page.

Sprawl is going to devour N. Fulton/ S. Forsyth just like it did to Gwinnett.
Traffic alone is enough to reduce quality of life.
It took just long enough to widen 400 for benefits to disappear due to an influx of people during the same time. Don't think they wont cut through your back yard to widen those roads. Look at State Bridge Rd. Sure you've got a nice house, but who cares when you spend more time in you car.
And not to mention the new proposed Mall at McFarland.
Just not worth it in my opinion. I would rather do other things with my time.
