If you don't want to read the entire report, here's a one line summary:

The current traffic disaster we have is absolutely nothing that wasn't foreseen and expected 50 years ago.

OR: There's no excuse for us to be where we are today. MARTA accurately predicted the metro area would have 3 million people by 1990. We had 3.3 million.

But at least by not building out the rail system, those non-white people never ventured outside 285, amirite?

Sigh. I'm in permanent eye roll mode at this metro and state.

Then they could have developed a cool urban core and pushed the minorities to the suburbs to sit in their cars!
