Technically, Buckhead is getting a second skyline because the one around Piedmont to the Lenox/Phipps area is separate from the new one developing in the SoB/Roswell Rd area.

I can't remember when... maybe 5 or 6 years ago, maybe a bit more?

Right here on this very board, everybody was directing people to midtown and similar areas. I begged and pleaded with people not to discount Buckhead, and was met with a "Buckhead is dead!" attitude.

All I can say is nanny-nanny-boo-boo. Never count Buckhead out.

NO, stop it right here. We are not coming up with the name SoB for Buckhead Village. It already has a name.

When I think of the name Buckhead Village, I think of what used to be there, the area of about 100 bars and clubs stacked next to and even on top of each other. The area that has all been torn down to recreate the shops.

Agreed. That SoB business was some of the most lamentable marketing babble I've heard in 20 years. Thanks for nothing, shopping center developers.

There's also the one developing in the Lindbergh area.
