Looks likely I'm going to Atlanta..... So I'm working at the perimeter highway and route 6 camp Creek highway.

I can spend up to 300k for a house with a yard that I can fence and it's me and 2 dogs. I'm a 40 yo white guy who likes to walk dogs on a path that has a lake or similar or go to a dog park.....

I've lived in the city like ny and miami a mid city el Paso and the small towns of Groveland fl and Pueblo West Colorado..... So I am pretty flexible there.

I can handle up to a 30 minute commute.

I play hockey so that would be cool if they had a rink. It would be cool if the recreation had a yoga class to keep me centered as well.....

What neighborhood would you put me in?

Thank you for sharing your experience.

What are your preferences being more city center compared to suburbs?

Peachtree City, Cobb County, or something like "Serenbe" if you want suburbs.

But you are also equally close to intown options. Midtown / Downtown if you want urban. Leafy in town neighborhoods like Ormewood Park, Grant Park, and Summerhill would work too. They might offer more historic and / or bohemian characteristics if that is your thing.

I would put you in Smyrna/Cumberland/Vinings Area

This is a 30 minute commute and sounds like you would like any of the trails around the Chattahochee - Cochran Schoals to start

They are building out the new Riverview Landing area as well.

At $300,000 this would get you an older house that needs updating or a newer townhome

Sweet. I'm not putting my dogs in a townhouse so it's a fenced yard or it's not happening.
