Best: Decatur

Most Desirable: Alpharetta

Most Unique: Peachtree City

Most Polished: Sandy Springs ITP (commonly referred to as Buckhead and understably so)

Most Potential: East Point. I’m so rooting for this city. It has tremendous potential.

Most Overlooked: Snellville. Good city. Good schools. Good location.

Totally agree about Most Overlooked and Most Potential.

I'm glad you mentioned Snellville.

Suwanee - very good schools, close access to Lake Lanier, I-85, growing downtown core, great parks, ethnic diversity, & GGC
Woodstock - quaint downtown, good schools, I-75 access
Buford - great schools, great High School sports, Lake Lanier access, quaint downtown, & Mall of Georgia
Cumming - Lake Lanier access, low property taxes w/ big breaks for Seniors, low housing cost, great schools, large lots

Can you really count Buckhead as a suburb when it's inside city limits and only a few miles from the center of town?

I'm obviously biased, but I hate that they don't break out East Cobb from Marietta.

The lines between Atlanta and Sandy Springs are blurred in the same way that the line between the city and East Point or Brookhaven are. Sandy Springs and Buckhead share one zip code for sure (30327) and possibly two with 30342.

According to some sources, 30327 is the most affluent zip code in the Southern United States. I hope this answers your question.
