When the weather turns frigid in metro Atlanta, airport officials know what to prepare for:

Flight delays. Maybe cancellations. Homeless people.

What to do with the men and women who make their way to large public facilities to escape the cold is a complicated issue at Hartsfield-Jackson International, just as it is everywhere else. Airport personnel want to discourage homeless people from gathering in baggage claim and the food court. But they don’t want to go too far and criminalize attempts to stay warm..."

It was good to read that APD is trying to strike a balance between humane treatment of homeless sleepers and cracking down on nuisance behavior.

Metro Atlanta needs to do a lot more about the homeless. They need basic shelter. Doesn't have to be fancy, just a room with a cot, a warm shower, and basic amenities.

Clickbait, in my opinion, that's been happening for years and it is a police precinct at the airport. What exactly has the police been there doing at the airport?
