I kind of remember filling out some forms and sending them in about a home rebate. Our realtor clued us in. Does anyone have any info about this and when you get your rebate. How does this work?

Thanks.

I think you're confusing the old NJ "Homestead Rebate" with the "Homestead Exemption" that you get here (block NJ from your mind.....lol). The homestead rebate used to come back to you as a check- the homestead exemption lowers your property taxes because your home is your primary residence.

There's a rebate to be captured from your buyer's agent, but I'm not certain if this is what you are referring to ??

Nope, no rebate for renters or owners here. As mentioned there is a homestead exemption which lowers your property taxes if you own and live in your primary home but it is not a rebate.
