I've heard about carnivals in Atlanta. In NY we have the Labor Day Parade that is pretty much a crowd fest. We use to have one on Long Island that was smaller and seemed more family oriented. I went to the smaller one twice and it was (to me) much better than the over crowded Labor Day Parade in Brooklyn NY. I am looking for something I can take my Daughter to who will be between 1 and 2yrs of age by the time I get there.

What type of West Indian Parades/Carnivals are there and when do they take place?

Also I've heard that the Easter Egg hunt of 06 in Stone Mountain was the biggest ever. I can't wait to take my daughter there.

Atlanta Carnival is in May

Google Atlanta West Indian Carnival, and you'll see the website that gives you all the pertinent details. If you can't find the link pm me and I'll give it to you (I don't think we are allowed to post links here)

<---Can't wait for Carnival!! My son who is 19 months old will be attending for the first time
