On the most congested cities article, one of the cars are facing the opposite way than all the other cars in its lane. A mistake in editing? Do you see the car I'm talking about?

I just realized what's happening, but it still makes it fun. See if you can figure out what I'm talking about

A car going in the wrong direction on an Atlanta interstate? Is that unusual?

One word: "Photoshop".

No - it's actually a taxi being towed, but looks like a cheesy Photoshop job. More and more doctored pics are showing up in newspapers though, so it was a good observation to make (photogs get canned for stuff like that if they fluff it up with software).

why is this a photoshop job? it looks exactly like what it is -- a taxi being towed on the highway.

And.. that would be covered in the second part of my post.

But the thing is, I have seen doctored Photoshop jobs on cities before. I'm a part time photographer, and it's more common practice than people think. I remember a few years ago in the earlier days of digital darkroom stuff, there was a large photo of an enormous traffic jam along the connector area downtown taken from the air. On close inspection, you could tell that many of the cars were duplicates, but so few people had heard of Photoshop back then that it took forever before the photog was called on it. LOL

Further evidence that the taxi is being towed is found in the mounted brake lights that the tow truck driver installed on the taxi's hood. So not only is the taxi facing the wrong direction in oncoming Atlanta traffic, it is doing it in a SAFE manner!!!

It doesn't look false to me- it's clearly a taxi being towed. Doesn't matter though-I agree with someone else- photoshop use or not that is EXACTLY what my commute looks like everyday.
