Default Ga. Gun Law Basic Facts

Can I holster a gun while I mow the lawn ?
Can I shoot someone stepping in my yard which has a no-trespassing sign staked in the ground ?

Get a Concealed Carry permit and holster as many guns as you want while mowing.

I think you know the answer to the second one I would hope.

You can holster your gun openly while cutting your lawn, but be prepared for an occasional visit from the police. Many transplants come from places like CA or NJ, where it's illegal to even think about owning a gun, so they'l call the cops if they see you walking around with a gun on your side because they're ignorant of the laws here. The cops will have to investigate the complaint, which is really more of a hassle for you and for them, and they'll probably "recommend" that you not carry while mowing. They can't stop you from doing it, but it'll save you both a PITA. I'd just wear a shirt that covers the gun and keep mowing, personally.

I just want to know more about this place where it's necessary to carry a piece while mowing the lawn? Somewhere in Tikrit?

Most places where you'd actually need to carry, there are no lawns, just concrete.

What? You don't do the Yosemite Sam gun shootin' celebratory dance every time you finish mowing your lawn? I thought everyone in GA did that.

I think it's because I am city slicker and I don't have a yard to mow....

But I would like to do that dance after cleaning my gutters and not falling to my death off my tall skinny city house.

You're mentally unstable, you shouldn't have a gun.
