What's Happening This Weekend?
Really looking forward to our first holiday weekend in the new city. Still got tons of boxes to unpack, but we're taking this weekend off just to have fun. Anything low-cost going on that would be good for a family of three (4 yo and 2 adults?) The little guy is fairly well-behaved, though, of course, it makes more sense to attend family-oriented events.
Are there any parades or sporting events we might want to check out? My husband wants to check out the Silverbacks, and their ticket prices aren't too bad, but I'd really love to go to something musical. I know that's usually expensive, but are there any concerts in the park or something of that nature?

Isn't Decatur already having their Concerts on the Square?
Decatur Events
It's a family friendly event. Probably a family-dominated event...

Oh, and the Decatur Arts Festival is this weekend, too.
Here's the general website for events in Decatur:

If you haven't heard already Decatur is probably one of best places for family-oriented entertainment.

Atlanta Jazz Festival is in Woodruff Park Saturday, Sunday and Monday and is free. I don't know how appropriate it'd be for a four year old, but that's your call.

Probably won't take the little guy to a jazz festival. Wouldn't be fair to the other patrons. But the arts festival and concert in the park sounds fabulous. Thanks y'all.
