Help! Atlanta! Any communities w/Lakes, Walking Trails, a pool near a major highway?mall etc.Lakes @ Cedar Grove?
Looking to purchase in nice subdivision. I went to Cedar Lakes in Fairburn, I love the feel of it. Homeowners out feeding the ducks, having picnics, riding bikes, walking on the lake with a mini boat, it's great. It reminds me of the planned communities in Maryland.
However it is in the middle of a nowhere! The closes highway is atleast 8-10 miles in any given direction. I have a 15 year old that is not driving and is dreading living in Cedar Grove. Are there any nice communities with a good high school and reasonably priced homes to buy! Also a subdivision with police patrol or little to no crime. I moved here from MD and made the mistake of moving to Clayton County and my daughter had the unfortunate experience of attending Mt. Zion High School, which rather depressing after coming from Montgomery County MD public schools which is one the top notch school districts in the country. I love GA, but hate Clayton County and want her in a High School where she will thrive!
Help! I am not from Atlanta, so I don't know. I am putting a contract on this other home if I can't find anything.
Anything thoughts on the Lakes at Cedar Grove and Creekside High School.
