I am black and here's something most blacks DO NOT want to SAY in terms of the problems within the Black Community. And AtlantaGreg mentioned it. IF 65% of ALL BLACK HOUSEHOLDS are single Parent households, you are going to have dysfunction in the community, the larger the number of housholds/residents. THIS IS AT THE CORE OF THE PROBLEM IN THE BLACK COMMUNITY. THE 2ND PROBLEM IS THE "UNCHECKED/UNSUPERVISED" CULTURE. THIS COMBINATION IS VERY DANGEROUS!!

There are plenty of reason that these two problems exist - but the main reason is that the community is still dealing with 350 years of hardship and 50 years of relief. In my 39.5 years on this earth, I find this situation to be the sadest.
