Indian food
I love Bhojanic too, and also Madras Chettinaad ( http://www.madraschettinaad.com/) on Lawrenceville Hwy in Decatur and have heard great things about its vegetarian neighbor - used to be Madras Saravana Bhavan not sure if they've had a name change with the new ownership? Anyone know?

Another vote for Bhojanic here. The old MSB does have a new name, but now I can't remember it... we've been twice and actually like it better than before. Udipi is also good.
As far as Thai, I like Thai Me Up in Decatur (I know, UGH on the name!). I go to the same Korean place George mentioned, but I don't know the name, either! We also like the new Mexican place in Decatur, El Tesoro, but I don't know that it's authentic. The best margaritas I've found are at Mezcalito's nee My Cow's Cantina nee Billy Goat's Cantina.

I'm still reading through the blog you posted George. Pretty good, I like the more current entries.
I'm trying Honey Pig tonight. Fingers crossed.

Nuevo Laredo is my late lunch/early dinner destination. Like say, 3 p.m. Otherwise, you can just forget it.

Madras Saravana Bhavan in Dekalb County - This place is part of worldwide chain based in India. I have eaten at the same place in Manhattan and the Bay area and the food is comparable. - South Indian Veg.
Udipi Palace in Dekalb County - South Indian Veg.
Cafe Bombay on N. Druid Hills - North Indian Veg./Non-Veg.
Santoor in Alpharetta - North Indian Veg./Non-Veg.
Take my word for it, these ones are the best ones in the Atlanta area and compete well with the best ones in NYC, SF, LA, London, Montreal, Toronto, DC that I have been to.
The Atlanta area has a lot of high quality, authentic ethnic food ranging from Korean to Thai to Indian to even Ethiopian.

I recommend The Palace in Norcross at PEachtree Pkwy and Holcomb Bridge. Bhoj is alright in that fusion sort of sense - which is the intention of the restaurateurs there.
I like zyka for saturday afternoon fast food. I'll pass on udipi. Havent been over by MSB in a bit - might have to check it out now that you are saying there are new owners.

FYI the H' Pig was crazy different, but good. Our waiter kept asking us just how we found out about the place - and I of course said - the internet. I guess they don't get many white Americans? I don't know, but the service was very friendly and speedy.
Food was very good, definitely not 'traditional' KBBQ, but a fun experience. You should go!
