Default Homeland Security positions....
We're planning a move to be closer to our family. My husband is looking into Homeland Security. Any based in mid to north Georgia area? Thanks. K

There's a FLETC facility in Glynco down by Brunswick, but nothing specific up here that I'm aware of.

They have TSA -transportation security administration and USCIS - citizen and immigration jobs too (they all come under homeland security). TSA usually hires all year round you have to take the test and when a position is vacant you are put in for training. THis is usually in and around the airport and they have senior level position too.

Be prepared for a long wait if you go for the above.

Default Orlando positions...
He is leaving his job in Hospital Administration. He has become weary of Doctors, the board and the hospital staff arguing about things. He has always had an interest in Homeland Security. I suspect he'd rather be dealing about truly serious things, than the petty things that go on at hospitals. He may check out positions in Orlando, as we're in Florida. However, we want to move and be close to our families in Georgia.
