Moving from New Jersey to metro Atlanta area, searching for 30-40 minute commute, affordable housing, cultural diversity, possibly Smyrna, Duluth, Marietta, Tucker, home prices in 200k range

You're so right. To each his own. Personally that's one of the reasons that we're doing the move. To find a nice, quiet area in which to raise our family. The hustle and bustle will still be there in and around the city and we'll know just how to get to it when we want to. But when it comes to laying down our heads at night or relaxing on a Sunday afternoon. I want peace and tranquility. Nothing hard to understand about that.

By the way do you work in or near the city? Like I said I had become sort of partial to the Duoglasville area. But if there's no mass transit option out of there it might be too far out. I mean I do a 45-60
minute commute every day now so it's not like it's something I'm foreign to. Just somethng I'm weary from.
