real housewives but not real people. if these women had not married well, they would be living IN atlanta. they are riding on the coat tails of their mates. lived in ATL for several years. nice place to visit

My sister is visiting, and she made me do the picture-in-picture bit on the TV to flip between the debate, and the Atlanta Housewives premier show tonight. Of course, she believes all these shows and now things this represents women in Atlanta as the "norm".

If I were a girl, and a Valley girl, my reaction to that show would be, "Oh - my - gawd".

Wow. Just wow. If I were a working woman I'd be mad. If I were a black woman I'd be mad. You could not possibly toss out more stereotypes into a handful of women as they did on this show. Well, ok, there's one token White girl, but she had hooker hair and wears gold metallic high heel shoes while walking down the street (my sister says she was surprised a guy didn't offer her $10). LOL

That DeeDee or BeeBee or whoever she is character.. wow.. language! She could make a Rapper blush. Just - wow.

Wow, the Atlanta version of this series is terrible. I am still going to watch though lol.

I loved the OC version most of them were business women. NY is NY so that was cool but the Atlanta version just seems so fake. talk about ghetto fabulous!!!!

And that poor freak Kim is pathetic. She should be put out of her misery. I feel so bad for those two little girls, being exposed to pubic ridicule in this way. Their mother is nothing more than an aging prostitute. Bravo should have more decency than to show those children's faces.

It is so bad and such a cliche' - almost every sterotype imaginable. What is so hilarious, is that probably the REAL housewives of Atlanta found it funny, tacky and somewhat boorish at first, and then decided in a micro-second how beneath them it was and now do not even consider it at all.

COME ON!!!!!!!!!! This is such a pathetic, sad, unrealistic "glimpse" of supposed Atlanta's housewives. The blue bloods of Atlanta would not be caught dead watching this show, much less appearing on it! The sad thing is these women have no clue what a mockery they are to any legitimate "society" type woman.

This perpetuates the stereotype of the nouveau rich and classless climbers on. Hmmmm, perhaps not such a stereotype - in that if you are this classless, you should at least have a marginal amount of intelligence to realize you are being trash and just shut up! Of course, perhaps no-one ever told these women that wealth DOES NOT equal class. Never has.

My Sister LIVES on the Bravo channel. She's pathetic. lol

I put her on limits tonight - she's only allowed to watch it for two hours a day while she's here. I think she might explode. Give me the Sci-Fi channel any day!
