Asian Supermarket south suburbs (Atlanta, Forest Park: trip , price, groceries)

Anyone know of an Asian supermarket in or near Stockbridge?

Hmm, the closest Asian market I know of an International Supermarket (not 100% sure the name) in Lake City at Hwy 54 and Forest Parkway. I forget its name exactly, but it is right at that intersection (I think that was an old Kroger, but not 100% sure). It has Hispanic and Asian groceries, very non-American (tons of imports from everywhere). It is about 7 miles NW of Stockbridge going towards Forest Park. There is a McDonalds there in the corner of the old shopping complex.

If you drive around on Hwy 54 in Forest Park towards I-285 you will see smaller Asian grocery stories, such as Vietnamese stores and a few Vietnamese restaurants. Not sure of other Asian nationalities. There are other foreign language stores on Hwy 54, too such as Spanish-language stores. Some call 54 "Little Buford Hwy."

I know that it's not that close - but it has everything! If I make a trip from downtown Atlanta, I treat myself to lunch in their food court before I do my grocery shopping.

Thanks. We found this store & it was perfect. It's a little bit of a drive, but worth it.
