Wow, 3 current (or recent) owners out of 16 owners have responded on this board. That is very unusual.

Something is quite fishy. Look at how many times the people who live there and say it's great have posted on this forum. One time each!

Default The Central Buckhead

If you are even thinking of living in The Central Buckhead community located near the corner of Habersham and Roswell Road please think again. I was one of the original owners of a unit in this complex. I loved the townhouses. Five stories, private elevator in each unit and very unique. The builder Sharon McSwain was such a crook. She allowed rampant mortgage fraud to occur in her development to unload units to people of questionable background which affected the taxes of the normal people who had bought there. At one point she had a unit with 11 people living in it and they moved out under the cover of darkness while pocketing over 200K in ill gotten gains from illegal loans. The units were damaged by renters when none of the units could sale because of all the fraud. People started turning them in to the bank just to get out of them because of all the riff-raff. One unit housed members of the Black Mafia family which ended up being raided by the APD, Secret Service and GBI where the busted up a id theft, money laundering and drug trafficking ring. The stigmas remains on these units that is why they are for the most part VACANT.

Wow I was looking this community and it looks like great value. After I see your posting, I think twice. But I still want to see one of the houses over there...
