Thanks, I-AM, for taking the time in posting the informative and depressing news stories as links for Clayton voters to read. Total shenanigans. I have these feeling that many of these bad apples WON'T be voted out as they deserve.
I have a feeling that very few active voters in Clayton county even come to this website or go online for that matter. My best guess is the elderly voters tend to be the most active voters, as that is the case most anywhere. I would suspect the vast majority of them do not go online. Some of them may have read these awful stories in the local papers that are delivered to residents here and there.
I won't mention which people I knew who were voted in after I dealt with a few of them in various civic organizations over the past several years, but I am thoroughly disappointed that I thought highly of any of these people before they were elected. It is almost embarrassing to admit that I even knew ANY of them. 3 out 3 bad apples is pretty bad. Other people I knew in the civic organizations seemed to be wonderful people who did not run for office.
The only thing I can mention that seems pretty good in Clayton county is the Water Authority. Supposedly the water in Clayton is relatively clean as compared to other Atlanta metro counties. I hope that function in Clayton doesn't messed up in the future. Clayton even has its own reservoirs so that it is not dependent on the Hooche as a water source.
(EDIT)
I was looking through your posts, I-AM, sad, no responses to any of them. [sigh]

Thanks J0ja for reading,
I post this information in different places and hopefully a few active voters take a look at it. It is sad, it really is...

Well, I'm glad you were wrong about a few things. I'm 28 and have only lived in GA for 4 years. The entire time in ClayCo. I missed the 04 elections, but couldn't wait for the day to get that little Napoleon out of office. I can go on all night about my gripes with him and Ms. Scott.

IAM,
Posting info on the Clayton situation is fine - but please do not "cross post" multiple times or I or other moderators will have to delete the duplicate postings. Thank you.

I don't think Clayton county HAS any voters. Otherwise they wouldn't be in this disgraceful mess. I guess there is something about good parenting that actually involves some thought around the community and schools. So there ya go.

I agree. Clayton convenes in regards to losing the SACS accreditation and less than 200 people show up, most of which are local small business owners. I guarantee if Cobb (and I realize Cobb NEVER would) faced the same circumstance you'd have a literal riot with every single parent picketing the board.
