Hey Kayrob,
I think everyone in NJ has been pulled over in Clark. I actually got out of that ticket. My hospital scrubs saved my liscense on more than one occassion. I think that's just how Clark is. That's so crazy because it's right next door to Rahway, which is pretty diverse.

Ok, hands down Barrett Pkwy is just like NY.

By the way, my first moving violation was issued to me by a female black officer in Atl. I think we all have preconceived notions just based on appearance but, nobody want to feel like a target. That's not a state of mind either. Unless, you've been in that situation you have no idea. I do not walk around looking for or expecting it. So, it's especially hard when you're hit in the face with this thing you've heard about. I know an officer's job is not a walk in the park.

the cobb county police will harass anyone, anytime, anyplace. I avoided that county cause they are all shaved head rambo james bond wanna-be's.
Yes, the people in atlanta drive crazy...you can be going 70 and many people will fly past you. And then there are those idiots who constantly change lanes thinking they are gonna save a few seconds.
Other than that, most of the Atlanta area cops are cool

I think outward presenatation and demeanor do of course affect decisions that cops make regardless of race or ethnicity. But this thread was specifically asking if there is any truth to what the originating poster heard about how some Cobb county officers seem to target blacks more. And we've had some commentary from some different perspectives.
