We are a young couple looking for a at least a 6 bedrooms home in the Atlanta area. We like contemporary/modern homes. WE work from home so we can live in any area. We don't have a set price range we want to stay in we just want to make sure we get what we want. Any ideas on area? realtors? Any advice?

If you work from home and don't need to battle A.M. / P.M. traffic and price isn't a huge issue, focus on the North end of town near "Alpharetta". Geographically, this gives you a reasonable (somewhat) commute into the City, as well as access to the North Georgia area up GA400, with outlet malls and arts/crafts towns, mountains, etc.

There will be plenty of larger homes in the nicer subdivision in that area with 5+ bedrooms, but of course, you'll pay $$ for them. Not sure what exactly your idea of "contemporary/modern" is, but while many homes in that area are a little more traditional, I'm sure there are modern ones a realtor can find you, too.

When you say "contemporary/modern", are you talkin flat roofs, lots of glass, rectilinear design, etc., or just something newer and non-bungalow/colonial?

Try Keller-Williams or anything listed in the Atlanta phone book. I'd avoid a flat roof, unless you want lots of problems with tree branches and water.

Check out Harry Norman, Realtors® | Your Best Move in Georgia, North Carolina and International or Jenny Pruitt & Associates, REALTORS - Atlanta Real Estate. Both have great search and sort capabilities and will give you an idea of what's out there before you call an agent. Lots of great homes in Alpharetta.
